Hey everyone! I'm in my mid-30s and finally pursuing my dream of building a high-performance gaming PC. I want it to be a long-lasting setup, primarily for gaming in 1440p until at least 2030 or beyond. I've already picked out some parts based on research and YouTube videos, but I'd love your advice on a few things.
1. Are there any parts in my build that seem overkill for my gaming needs? I'm looking for suggestions on alternatives that maintain good performance but can save me money. I heard about some recommendations for RAM and cooling options—like using 6000CL30 RAM and dual tower air coolers—but I'm not sure if that's applicable here. Maybe going with a Gen 4 SSD instead of Gen 5 could be wiser?
2. On the aesthetic side, I'd like my rig to look classy without any extravagant elements. I'm open to a non-glass case if it helps lower costs.
My current build totals around $2300, which feels pretty steep, especially without a higher-end graphics card included. I'm open to any suggestions or even a full build link that I can source parts for in India. Appreciate any help!

Honestly, the 9800X3D is probably overdoing it for your GPU choice. You might want to consider the 7800X3D instead—it’s more than enough for heavy gaming and could save you a lot. Also, a 750W PSU should be sufficient; 1000W is likely overkill unless you plan massive upgrades later.
Yeah, I'm on the same page! If the 7800X3D can carry you for the next 7 years, that sounds like a smart move. I get wanting to future-proof with a higher watt PSU, but you’re right—saving on the build now gives you more for an OLED later!
