I'm on the hunt for a user-friendly IT asset management tool that can replace our current system of using spreadsheets. We're not a large company, so I'm looking for something straightforward to set up and manage. I need a way to track who has what assets and when they were last used. Ideally, I'd prefer a SaaS option, but I'm open to other ideas as long as it doesn't require a lot of manual setup. I want to steer clear of Snipe-IT, as it seems too complicated for our needs. Budget isn't a big concern, I just need something functional with minimal oversight. Any recommendations?

You should consider something with a focus on stability and compliance like GoCodes. It’s cloud-based and doesn’t have a lot of unnecessary features, which can save you training time. A lot of the popular solutions are great, but make sure to demo a few to find the right fit for your needs.
AssetTiger might be up your alley if you're looking for something simple. It’s free for up to a certain number of assets, and it makes tracking easy. I onboarded a bunch of interns using it, so it can't be too hard! It covers all the essentials like check-ins/outs and even barcode scanning.
Awesome! Does it work seamlessly for remote employees too?
If you're strapped for time and resources, you’re right to skip Snipe-IT. We switched to Bluetally because it’s a lot easier to manage. You can get it all set up quickly—just link your identity provider, import a CSV, and get rolling in under an hour. Plus, it integrates well with other tools without needing extensive scripting.
That sounds great! Does Bluetally allow you to manage asset access when an employee leaves?
