I'm setting up security for my small office space at WeWork and need some recommendations for security cameras. Ideally, I'd like to get about 3 or 4 cameras that are easy to install and can sync with an app. I've looked at Ubiquiti cameras, but I'm concerned they might be complicated to set up, especially if I need to run cables or set up a server. Does anyone have suggestions?

Did you get WeWork's permission to install cameras? That's something you should clarify first before buying anything.
I'm not sure what you mean by synchronize, but for what you're looking for, you’ll likely need a Network Video Recorder (NVR). Don't just rely on SD cards; those can get full fast. There’s a ton of options for cameras, but you need to consider what features you actually want—like night vision, motion detection, or audio recording. It could be tricky to go wireless, so I'd definitely look at brands like Tapo, Ubiquiti, Nest, or Ring. It might be a good idea to reach out to a local managed service provider to help set this up, especially since you mentioned you don't have much experience with this kind of installation. If running cables isn’t allowed by WeWork, you might want to ask if they can provide their own security cameras in common areas.
You seem to want something that’s not too complicated, but if you're reluctant to use cables and a dedicated NVR, you might be aiming for budget options instead of a more robust solution. Like, if you’re struggling with Ubiquiti, maybe you’re not ready for a full-scale system. For simpler setups, you could try systems like UniFi G6 Instant, which only requires USB power and not a lot of wiring, or even consider battery-powered options.
Yeah, screw running cables if you can avoid it! Just make sure your WiFi is solid enough to handle wireless cameras and you'll be fine.
