Hey everyone! I'm stepping into the world of PC building for the first time and have put together a build mainly for gaming and a bit of programming. I aim to utilize my ultrawide 1440p monitor, if possible. I've created a list of components on PC Part Picker, but I'm unsure about a few things. First off, I'm getting a warning saying that the motherboard has an older BIOS version, and I'll need to update it for my CPU. Should I be concerned about that? Also, are there any parts where you think I can save some money? I'm located in Europe, and I'm curious if GPU brands make a difference when choosing a Radeon 9070 XT. Thanks in advance for your help!

Your build looks solid! One suggestion I have is to consider RAM with a lower CAS latency if you can find it. Additionally, I'd recommend an AIO cooler over air cooling—especially with the 7800X3D, as it runs hot. Regarding the GPU, I know someone in retail who said while there’s some difference in performance and cooling between brands, it’s often negligible. Most people seem to focus on the aesthetics when choosing a brand—Asus cards are quite popular right now!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into upgrading my RAM. I hear AIO coolers can fail and leak; should I be worried about that?
