Looking for guidance on choosing a Linux distro

I've been wanting to switch from Windows to Linux since Windows 10 is losing updates soon. I consider myself pretty tech-savvy and have tinkered with distros like Mint, Endeavour, and openSUSE, but I'm still unsure which one would fit me best. I'm looking for a stable distro that allows me to learn about Linux while being reliable enough for daily use. I'd really appreciate any advice you guys have!

It's often more about the Desktop Environment than the distro itself when it comes to comfort. Major stable distros like Debian, Mint, or Fedora usually come with different DEs. Just try a few and see which interface you like best. Also, check out Live USBs so you can test them without installing. It makes the whole experience smoother!

I tried Mint and it was decent, but it didn't quite click for me. I might give Fedora a shot next.

You can learn Linux on any distro, but some make it easier than others. If you want a solid daily driver, consider Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, or Mint. They're user-friendly for beginners, and they come with most software you'll need right off the bat. Fedora and Mint might have newer packages, while Debian is rock-solid and stable. If you want a challenge and don’t mind breaking things occasionally, Arch or Gentoo could be fun, but they’re definitely more hands-on.
