I'm in the market for a new phone and I'm hoping to find a mid-range option. I previously owned a Xiaomi 11i and really liked it, so I want something that has a better camera this time around. Here are my requirements: it should have fast charging, a good camera for its price range, and it needs to last around 3-4 years. I'm also open to slightly older models (about 2-2.5 years old) at discounted prices since I feel like major updates aren't necessary anymore. I'm also curious to hear opinions on buying second-hand phones. Any suggestions or recommendations?

What’s your budget or price cap? Knowing that would really help narrow down some good models and brands that offer great value!
I've been using Motorola for years, and while a friend suggested OnePlus, I just prefer phones that avoid heavy Google tracking. I often switch out default apps to maintain privacy.
If you're looking for a mid-budget phone, I'd recommend checking out options known for good cameras and fast charging. Don’t shy away from buying lightly used phones as long as they’re in good condition and the battery health checks out.
For Android, consider getting any Pixel phone. They have fantastic value and great cameras. Personally, I think the regular iPhone 17 offers the best bang for your buck, but it's a bit pricier than some others.
I've had my Pixel for years and loved it. Definitely look at the 'a' versions for cheaper alternatives!
I’m focusing more on battery life and durability than on raw specs.

Yeah, but how can I assess the phone's condition just from photos and videos?
