Hey everyone! I'm putting together a PC as a birthday gift for my wife. She currently plays on a digital PS5, but I want to upgrade her gaming experience, especially since she loves single-player and indie games. Right now, she's into Fortnite but has enjoyed AAA titles like Horizon 1 and 2.
I aim for a white, full RGB build that can run games at 1080p and 60fps. I started with a budget of around 500€, but as I researched, I realized I need to ensure decent parts rather than cutting corners. I've narrowed down my parts list, but I'd love some advice on whether I've missed anything or if there are ways to make it cheaper. You can check my list [here](https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/user/Beardofella/saved/k2h84D).
Also, I'm not completely attached to the SSD—to be honest, I just picked up the cheapest 1TB SSD I could find. Thanks in advance for your help!

I noticed you're spending a bit on fans. If you go with the CPU’s stock cooler and get a couple of basic 12cm fans instead, you could save a good amount to reinvest in a better GPU. A used RTX 3070 could be a great alternative at around 230€, and it will offer better performance than what you're considering right now.
Your list looks good overall! One thing to consider is looking for RAM in local second-hand markets; you might snag a better deal there. Also, ensure the quality of the SSD since cheaper models can have lower durability and speed over time. So, keep an eye out for drives with TLC flash instead of QLC for better longevity.
If you're not set on new parts, consider looking for a second-hand RTX 3080. It performs exceptionally well at 1080p, often pushing over 100 FPS in many games. You could find one priced around $250-$300 if you’re willing to negotiate. It'll give you significantly better performance than a new mid-range card.
I'm currently using an RTX 3080 for 4k gaming, and it's been amazing! You definitely won't regret that choice!

Good point! I didn't think about the flash type—that’s super important! Thanks for pointing that out!
