Hey everyone! I've been using Kubuntu 22.04 since it came out and I'm ready to shake things up. Before this, I tried Ubuntu Gnome and Xubuntu back in 2017. I'm not super advanced with Linux, but I've liked how user-friendly Kubuntu has been. I mainly use my PC for gaming (Steam is a must!), and for some work with Blender and photo editing using RAW Therapee and Darktable.
Here are my specs: Ryzen 7 5700g, ATI 5600XT, and 64GB of RAM. I'm thinking about completely wiping my system to try a new distro. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about what you're really looking for? If you just want a new experience, would you prefer a big change or something more gradual?
Given that gaming is a big part of your usage, I'd suggest looking at distros tailored for gaming, like Nobara or Ublue Bazzite/Aurora. However, if you want something more general, Fedora is another solid option. Just remember, you can always mix things up with your desktop environment without switching distros, so feel free to explore those options!
If you're set on trying something like Arch, just be prepared for a bit of setup work! But honestly, Manjaro is a great alternative that gives you that Arch base with an easier setup. You might want to start there to get your feet wet.
If you're looking to challenge yourself, Arch could be a fun adventure! Just keep in mind, it's a significant shift from what you're used to. Make sure you have a backup of your important files and consider using a second drive for testing things out, so you always have a working OS to return to if things get messy.
