I'm dealing with auditory processing disorder and am in the market for a standalone voice recorder that works well. Ideally, I'd like it to have the ability to log recordings with Whisper for transcription, mainly for work meetings or discussions. I already subscribe to ChatGPT Plus and have some knowledge of APIs and open-source solutions, so if there's a way to integrate with Azure/365 or a standalone Docker app, that would be awesome too.

You might want to give BrainDump a shot; it’s simple and effective for voice recording.
My friend swears by Plaud for recording and transcription. It's worth looking into, especially if you want something reliable.
You should definitely check out Voicenotes; it’s really user-friendly! Also, the Gemini API just rolled out transcription features that are quite impressive—plus, it can identify different speakers!
If you're an Android user, there’s built-in functionality with AI Voice Record and Samsung Notes, but I get that you want a standalone device.
You might want to check out something called HiDock; it’s designed for recording and could fit your needs pretty well.
Plaud sounds interesting! I'm curious if it has good quality for meetings.
