I'm trying to find the perfect monitor for my setup and could use some advice! My PC specs include an RTX 4080 Super and an i9-14900k processor. I'm currently eyeing a 45-inch 3440x1440p 240Hz monitor from LG, but I've heard that the PPI (pixels per inch) might not be great, which has me concerned. I also found a 5k2k 45-inch monitor, but I'm told my GPU might struggle with that resolution, plus I'm really used to that smooth 240Hz experience.
Since I'm moving into a new apartment and have the space for something larger (but nothing over 45 inches), I want a monitor that's curved for a more immersive feel. I currently have a 27-inch 2560x1440p 240Hz monitor, and I'd like to know how the PPI on the 3440x1440 would compare. If it turns out to be decent, I might really consider it. Any suggestions or insights?

I have the 45" LG 3440x1440 240Hz model you're considering, and I absolutely love it for gaming! I mostly play sim racing, and it looks stunning. Just keep in mind that PPI could be an issue if you're looking to use it for productivity; text can sometimes come off a bit janky and I’ve seen colored dots on big documents. But if you're mainly gaming, it's fantastic and really immersive! The size is great for multitasking, like gaming on one side and streaming on the other.
Thanks for the feedback! So, would you say the text issues are super noticeable while gaming, or only when you're dealing with documents?
