Hey everyone! I'm in the search for a reliable VOIP phone system vendor for our healthcare organization, which has around 400 employees. It's crucial that whatever we choose is HIPAA compliant since we're dealing with sensitive information. We want to implement features like digital assistants, phone tree workflows, and a scheduling queue with connected agents. We already have a setup with Yealink phones, so I'm hoping to reuse our existing desk and conference phones if possible. Currently, our phone numbers are connected to an existing VOIP provider via SIP trunk. I'm unsure if other VOIP vendors will allow us to connect SIP numbers directly or if we'll need to port our numbers. I've looked into Dialpad so far but I'm curious about other experiences and recommendations. Appreciate any feedback you can share! Thanks!

For value, you might check out Net2Phone, especially since you could get a lower rate if you have over 50 users. We've had great experiences with it.
I personally find Dialpad to be pretty expensive, especially with frequent software updates. If it were me, I might steer clear, considering cost vs. features.
We just switched from Dialpad to Zoom Phone and cut our VoIP costs by about half! Since many of our users already had Zoom licenses, the switch was budget-friendly and seamless.
If you have Microsoft licensing, definitely consider Teams Phone with Operator Connect. It's actually quite effective, and it can work with your Yealink phones as long as those models support SIP gateway or have the right firmware. Plus, Microsoft has a solid grip on compliance, including HIPAA, and they often don't charge extra for businesses like ours with healthcare needs.
I've been using Dialpad in my organization and like it overall. The integration with other apps is pretty smooth, but I’ve experienced some slow support and pricing has been tricky lately as they seem to nickel and dime.
We're in healthcare and use RingCentral; it's been working well for us!
I have clients on Dialpad and while it's a bit pricier than some options like Packet8 or RingCentral, it's significantly more effective for healthcare environments. I'd recommend it for sure.
Second this! Using Teams has been great for us.
