I just opened my Acer Aspire A515-44 series laptop, and it's completely unresponsive. The screen and keyboard don't light up, I can't turn it on or off, and the LEDs are dark. It's always plugged in, so that shouldn't be the issue. I've tried everything from battery reset with the pinhole, removing the battery for a reset, to checking the power cable and outlets multiple times. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot before I consider it completely dead? The only odd thing I've noticed recently is that the fan sometimes gets really loud.

Have you checked if there are any LED indicators on the charger? If it’s totally dead, that might help determine if it’s the laptop or the charger that's the problem.
Acer's quality has really dropped lately. I bought two Nitro laptops myself, and they're both giving me trouble. Wish you luck with this one! They used to be good but it's been hit or miss lately.
If there's no light from the charger and nothing on the laptop, it could be a power issue. Try using a different charger that's compatible with your model. Sometimes, a failing charger is the culprit.
