My HP Pavilion Desktop Keeps Freezing and Restarting When Browsing, Any Fixes?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my HP Pavilion TP01-2096 Desktop. It freezes and restarts only when I have a web browser open, regardless of which one I use. I've already cleared all extensions and deleted cookies and cache, but it hasn't helped. I can stream music and watch videos without a hitch, but the moment I connect to the internet, the problems start. I've tried updating all drivers and even ran the HP Hardware Diagnostics tool, which showed everything is fine. I also reset all network connections, updated the BIOS, and reinstalled Windows 11 multiple times, but nothing seems to fix it. The Event Viewer shows recurring Certificate enrollment failures (Event ID: 86) and failures related to the Microsoft Pluton Cryptographic Provider (Event ID: 57) at the same time the restarts occur. Could these failures be causing the issue? The last restart happened when I was trying to save a document with active browser windows. There are no error messages or BSOD—just unexpected restarts. This has been happening several times a day for almost a month now. I ran the Specify tool for some diagnostics too.

Check your system for any dump files! They’re in the C:WindowsMinidump folder and can provide vital clues. If you have any, you can zip them and upload them to a file-sharing service for further analysis.

Just a quick reminder—always back up your data before making significant changes to system settings or BIOS. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

First off, it's great you’ve already tried a lot of troubleshooting steps! Have you checked if the freezing happens across different browsers, like Chrome and Firefox? Sometimes specific browser settings or extensions can create issues. If it does happen on all browsers, it might be related to other system conflicts.

Yep, it happens on all of them.

I recommend running a RAM test using MemTest64. It’s more thorough than your typical checks. You can also try removing a RAM stick and using different slots to see if that improves things. And don’t forget to disable hardware acceleration in your browser settings; that might help too!

I’ll run MemTest64. I’ve already tried switching RAM sticks and turning off hardware acceleration.

Also, watch out for memory locking issues; sometimes, it can be reserved by other apps or the kernel.
