I have an iPhone 16 that I got about three months ago, and this past weekend I encountered a strange issue. My phone died when the battery was at 1%. After that, I tried charging it, but it didn't respond at all, even after multiple attempts for about 30 to 60 minutes. I decided to leave it alone for a day, thinking I might send it in for repair. However, 1.5 days later, I tried again and it magically started charging and showed the battery symbol. Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal for such a deep discharge to cause this? This has happened once before, where it didn't charge immediately but started working after letting it sit for an hour. I'm unsure if I should send my phone in for service or keep using it, especially since I hear Apple replaces it with a refurbished device, which I want to avoid since it's still so new.

This could be a power management glitch rather than a hardware issue. Make sure your phone's software is fully updated, just in case!
It’s worth getting it checked out at Apple if you're worried. Better safe than sorry!
Yeah, that’s what I keep thinking, but I’m not sure if it’s really a concern.

Yep, it's all up to date!
