I'm having a frustrating issue with my laptop where the sound only works through my Bluetooth earbuds. I've tried everything I could find online, including following video tutorials, restarting my Windows 11 laptop, and even attempting a factory reset, but I couldn't because of storage issues. Sometimes the sound will work with my wired earbuds, but it's really hit or miss, and it always seems to revert back to just my Bluetooth earbuds. What can I do to regain a fully functional sound setup without having to trash my laptop?

Have you considered tweaking BIOS settings? Sometimes boot options can mess with how your laptop recognizes different audio outputs. Just be careful with BIOS changes; it's best to back up your data first, just in case something goes wrong.
It sounds like you might need to check your sound settings. Go to your audio settings and see if your laptop is set to prioritize Bluetooth devices over wired ones. If that doesn’t work, try updating your audio drivers—sometimes outdated drivers can cause weird sound issues. Also, if possible, free up some space on your hard drive because that can affect performance too! Good luck!
I had a similar issue! I did a driver update, and it worked for me. Definitely worth a shot!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into that. I’ll definitely make sure to backup everything before I experiment.
