I've been using Linux for about four days now, specifically Debian Gnome, and I'm facing an issue where my laptop doesn't wake up after I put it to sleep. When I try to power it on manually, nothing happens, and I end up having to shut it down completely and restart it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be appreciated!

Did you set up a swap file? Sometimes having a swap file can help with sleep issues on Linux. It might be worth checking that out!
If you have an Nvidia graphics card, that could be the culprit. I had a similar issue on another Linux distro where the Nvidia drivers messed things up. I recommend looking into it, especially adjusting settings to prevent your GPU from going into deep sleep. Also, you might want to familiarize yourself with `journalctl` to check logs related to sleep and wakes. It could provide clues about what's going wrong.
