My PC Only Starts After Clearing CMOS—What Could Be Wrong?

Hey there! I've been having a frustrating problem with my PC lately. It won't boot up in the morning after being shut down overnight. When I try to power it on, I often see a white GPU debug LED, or sometimes no LED at all, and it just won't POST. The only fix I've found is to clear the CMOS using the button on the back of the motherboard. Once I reset the BIOS, I can access it just fine, enable EXPO, and it restarts without issue. But it gets stuck on the orange DRAM debug LED for a few seconds before it finally POSTs and runs like a champ. This problem only happens after a shutdown and everything else works perfectly once it's up and running.

Here's what I've already tried:
- Reseated the CPU, GPU, and RAM
- Updated BIOS to the latest version
- Booted with minimal hardware (1 RAM stick, using iGPU, no NVMe drives)

This issue started about two weeks ago with no prior changes. Any tips on what I could test next would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

**My Specs:**
- Asus Strix X670E-A Gaming WiFi (3 years old)
- MSI RTX 4090 Gaming Trio (3 years old)
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D (6 months old)
- Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 (on QVL) (6 months old)
- Andyson 1200W Platinum PSU (4 years old)

Have you checked the CMOS battery? If it's running low (under 3 volts), that could cause issues when trying to boot up cold. It’s a simple fix, but it might solve your problem. Let me know if you want more steps to troubleshoot further!

Thanks for the tip! I thought the battery just kept settings, but after looking into it, there's definitely a chance it could be causing the issue. I’ll swap it out and see how it goes!
