I recently upgraded my graphics card from a 2070 Super to a 9070 XT. I used DDU to completely remove the Nvidia drivers and then installed the latest AMD drivers. My CPU is a 7800X3D. The issue is happening now with the 9070 XT, as my PC shuts off completely—without any warning—either during loading or about 30 seconds after loading into Fortnite. Interestingly, I managed to play one full game without issues, but it crashed right before the second game. I have 16GB of RAM, which I don't think is the problem. I have a MSI A750GL power supply and I'm using two 6+2 PCIe cables connected to the GPU. I'm wondering if I need a new power supply or if there's something else I should consider to fix this.

Make sure your GPU is seated properly in the slot; sometimes it can look okay and still not be making good contact. If it’s still shutting off after that, it may point to a power issue. What cables are you using exactly?
It sounds like your power supply might be struggling here. The A750GL is usually solid, but issues can still crop up. Make sure those power cables are firmly connected to your GPU; sometimes they can look plugged in but aren't fully seated. A good next step is to try power limiting your 9070 XT using the Adrenaline software—this might help the issue. Let us know if that makes a difference!
I noticed my PC sometimes shuts off when I turn it on for the first time. I usually have to hit the power button again for it to boot properly. Could that be related?”
That’s interesting—if reseating the GPU doesn't work, definitely keep an eye on whether your PSU has any weird behaviors.
How old is the PSU? Sometimes hardware can have issues right out of the box. If it's brand new, you might want to explore warranty options. Also, sometimes a PSU can fail under load, which could explain why it works outside games but shuts off during them.
It’s only about a week old. I thought new PSU issues were rare, though.

I’ll check the seating and let you know. Using two separate 6+2 PCIe cables, just like the setup recommends.
