I'm trying to complete my PC build using some leftover parts, but I'm facing an issue where it won't boot from the SSD that has Windows 10 installed. Instead, I'm just getting a blinking cursor. What steps can I take to resolve this?

Can you tell me the make and model of your SSD and motherboard? Knowing that can help in troubleshooting. For example, I see that you mentioned your SSD is a SanDisk 256GB and your motherboard is an ASUS ROG Crosshair 4 Formula. If everything else seems fine, you might want to check the SSD connections and ensure they’re securely plugged in.

First, check if the SSD is detected in the BIOS. If it’s showing up, then it’s a good sign. Also, make sure it’s set as the primary boot device. If it’s a fresh install of Windows, try reinstalling it as there could have been an issue during the installation process.
