Hey everyone, I've been dealing with a frustrating issue on my Prosonic Smart TV that runs on Android TV OS 11. Although it's a few years old, it still gets updates now and then. For more than a year, I've noticed that when I turn the TV off, even for just a little while, it won't turn back on with the remote or the power button. The only fix I've found is to unplug the TV and then plug it back in, after which it works fine. Has anyone else run into this problem? Do you think it's a software glitch, a hardware issue, or could it be related to power settings? I'd really appreciate any suggestions to help solve this! Thanks!

It sounds like your TV might be getting stuck in a deep sleep mode, which happens sometimes. Updating your TV's software or even replacing it could help. Or, like others said, using a switched outlet might be the easiest fix.
Check if there’s a sleep mode setting you can adjust. You could look for your TV’s manual for specific instructions. Sometimes these settings can cause weird issues.
If your TV has a USB port, consider trying a firmware update for your model. If not, a handy solution is getting an outlet adapter that can be turned on and off remotely. That way, you won’t have to keep unplugging it manually!
I’ve noticed my TV does this too after a quick power outage. It might help to look into power surge protection or just restarting it when it happens.
Exactly! Those remote outlet switches are really useful for situations like this.
