Need Advice on Upgrading My CPU for Gaming and Streaming

I'm currently using an Intel i5-10400F, which worked well with my old GPU, but now that I've upgraded my graphics card, it's just not cutting it. I'm looking for a new CPU that will be great for gaming and possibly streaming too. Ideally, I'd like something that supports DDR4 and I'm open to spending a bit more for a future-proof option. I'm not really knowledgeable about CPUs, so any suggestions are appreciated!

Totally agree with the LGA1700 recommendation! If you're aiming to future-proof your setup, go for a modern CPU since they'll keep pace with gaming demands. You might want to consider the Intel i7 or even i9 options if you're willing to spend a bit more. They'll really help with streaming and gaming at high settings!

What GPU are you currently using? If you have a new one, I'd suggest looking at CPUs with the LGA1700 socket from Intel's 12th to 14th generation. They’re pretty solid for gaming and will handle streaming well too! Ignore the AMD crowd pushing AM4; Intel's newer offerings are really great right now. Check out some reviews for specific models before you decide!
