Need Feedback on My PC Build List Before I Buy

Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my gaming rig which currently has a 3080, and I could really use your input on my build list before I make any purchases. Here's what I have:

1. I know I'm paying a bit more for the CPU and GPU, but they're the best options I can find within my budget considering my work needs, so I'm okay with that.
2. I picked an SFX PSU, thinking it might be useful if I ever decide to switch to an ITX build, although that's looking less likely now.

Here's my component list and their prices:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz - £404.99 from Currys PC World
- **CPU Cooler**: Noctua NH-U12A - already owned
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 - £299.00 from Computer Orbit
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5200 - already owned
- **Storage**: WD Blue SN570 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD - already owned
- **Video Card**: Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB - £2349.00 from Computer Orbit
- **Case**: Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower - £124.98 from Amazon UK
- **Power Supply**: Corsair SF1000 1000W Platinum - £199.00 from Computer Orbit
- **Operating System**: Windows 11 Home - already owned
- **Case Fans**: 4 x Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM Fans - already owned

Any thoughts on where I might be overspending or if there's something better I could get?

I think you're overspending on that MSI X870E motherboard. For your build, especially with the components you've chosen, you might not need something that high-end. Consider dropping down to a more budget-friendly option that still offers good features.

Got any suggestions for a more affordable board that still has decent Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities?
