Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC and I'm a bit stuck on which motherboard to choose for my setup with a 9800X3D and a 5070 Ti. I'm specifically looking for a motherboard that supports PCIe 5.0, and I've been considering the B850 series. I found a couple of options, like the MSI and GIGABYTE boards, and I'm curious about their differences. Also, how important is the VRAM for the 9800X3D? Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The main differences between the MSI and GIGABYTE motherboards are in their VRM designs and connectivity. The MSI board has a 12-phase VRM, which is great for supporting your 9800X3D and future-proofing if you decide to upgrade to a higher core CPU later. The GIGABYTE one has a 6-phase VRM, which might struggle a bit with powering that CPU. If you're deciding between the two, I’d recommend going with the MSI for better stability and performance.
Thanks for the advice! I really want to make sure I get the right board, especially since this is a big investment for me. So the MSI one is a safe bet, right?
