Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a new gaming PC and I've got two different builds quoted by a systems integrator. Here's what I'm looking at:
**Build 1**:
- Processor: AMD R7 9700X (up to 5.50GHz, 8C 16T)
- Motherboard: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi DDR5
- Cooler: Corsair 360mm CF360 RGB B
- RAM: Gskill 16x1 Ripjaws S5 5200Mhz (16GB DDR5 CL40)
- GPU: Sapphire RX 9060XT Pulse (8GB)
- Storage: WesternDigital 1TB SN7100 Black Gen4 NVMe
- PSU: Deepcool 750W GS PN750D Gold ATX 3.1
- Cabinet: Corsair 4000D Frame RS ATX TG RGB 3F B
**Build 2**:
- Processor: AMD R7 9700X (up to 5.50GHz, 8C 16T)
- Motherboard: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi DDR5
- Cooler: Corsair 360mm CF360 RGB B
- RAM: Gskill 16x1 Ripjaws S5 5200Mhz (16GB DDR5 CL40)
- GPU: Zotac RTX 5060Ti Twin Edge OC (8GB)
- Storage: WesternDigital 1TB SN7100 Black Gen4 NVMe
- PSU: Deepcool 750W GS PN750D Gold ATX 3.1
- Cabinet: Corsair 4000D Frame RS ATX TG RGB 3F B
Build 2 costs INR 10K (around 115 USD) more than Build 1. I'm also getting a 3-year doorstep warranty, which is why I'm leaning towards getting a pre-built instead of building it myself. Any advice on which build is better? Thanks!

Neither build is ideal since the 9700X isn't a great match for the lower-end graphics cards specified. You'd be better off with a 9600X and at least a 16GB graphics card, like a RX 9060 XT or a 5060 Ti. Also, the RAM could be faster; I'd recommend DDR5 6000 CL30 instead. The cooler looks like overkill, too—consider a large dual tower air cooler to save some cash. Honestly, if you building it yourself, you could optimize your components for better performance without breaking the bank!
Got it! So, bumping up to the 16GB variants makes sense, and you think the 9600X would be a suitable CPU? I want this build to last for a few years without upgrades, especially for 2K gaming as a daily driver.
