I'm using a Fire HD tablet and I need to download a video of my aunt's funeral. The video is password protected, which I have, but that means I can't simply paste the URL into a video downloader on the web. The video is only available for another 24 hours, so I'm looking for quick advice. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm really sorry for your loss. Another option is to contact the funeral home directly. I did that for a video I needed, and they sent it right over. It's worth asking since the time is running out.
If you can play the video in your browser, consider trying the Video DownloadHelper extension for Firefox. It might just do the trick!
I’ll test that out! I tried some other extensions, but they didn’t work.
It might be tricky since the site is password protected. If you're comfortable, send me the link and password and I can help out. Without knowing the site, it's hard to give specific advice. Otherwise, you could try screen recording as a last resort.
The site is called Obitus. It requires a login and password to watch the stream. My tablet doesn’t have a screen recording feature—do you think an app might help?
Check if you can use an m3u8-downloader extension. Some videos are protected this way, but if you're using Chrome, you should be able to find one that works!
I have Chrome, so I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Yeah, reaching out to them sounds like a good idea. I’m just trying to make sure I get it for my mom before it’s too late.
