Hey everyone, I recently built a new PC with a G-Force RTX 5080 Wind Force SFF and a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 motherboard, but I'm running into a problem. My graphics card isn't being detected at all. When I connect the HDMI cable to the motherboard, everything works fine, but if I switch it to the GPU, the system won't post, and I get a VGA error light on the motherboard. I checked the BIOS, and it doesn't detect anything in the PCIe 16 slot either.
I'm not sure if the GPU is getting any power because the fans don't spin at all when I turn the PC on, and I'm not certain if the card has any LED indicators. If anyone has the same model, could you let me know if you see your fans moving even a little bit on startup? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Let’s check the basics first—those are often missed. Are you using a modular or semi-modular PSU? Make sure everything is plugged in securely. Also, double-check that your GPU is seated correctly in the PCIe slot. Clear the CMOS just for good measure. You might want to fiddle with the PCIe settings and try a different slot, plus ensure your BIOS is up to date.
It sounds like your GPU might not be getting enough power, or it could be faulty. How do you have it connected to the power supply? Are you using the 12v-2x6 connectors or anything different? Any chance you're using pigtails?
I'm using the 12-pin 600W cable that came with my power supply. I've also removed the GPU and reseated it several times, including replugging the power cable from the power supply to the GPU.
Where did you purchase the GPU from?
I bought it from Umart.
My power supply is fully modular, and I've checked that all cables are in tight. I haven't cleared the CMOS yet, but I will do that tomorrow along with trying a different PCIe slot. The BIOS is the latest version already.
