Need Help Troubleshooting My New PC Build

Hey there! I'm currently building a new PC and could use a second opinion on a couple of things before I start worrying about any potential RMA or warranty issues. Here are the specifics of my build:

**Parts:**
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B850 AORUS STEALTH (AM5)
- **CPU:** Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **GPU:** RTX 5060 Ti
- **PSU:** Seasonic FOCUS GX ATX 3 (2024), 750W, fully modular
- **Cooler:** Gigabyte AORUS Waterforce 2 360 AIO
- **Case:** Gigabyte C500 Panoramic Stealth
- **RAM:** Not installed yet

**Connections Made:**
- 24-pin ATX connected
- 8-pin (4+4) CPU power connected
- The additional 2x2 CPU power header on the board is not used
- GPU powered via PCIe
- SATA power connected to the case fan/RGB hub

**What's Happening:**
- As soon as I switch the PSU to ON, there's a steady red LED near the debug/7-segment display that lights up immediately, even without pressing the case power button.
- No error codes show up unless I press the power button.
- When I power it on:
- All fans start spinning
- AIO pump is running (I can hear it)
- GPU fans spin up and the GPU RGB lights up
- However, the RGB on the case fans and AIO fan doesn't light up.
- POST halts at code 21 (which I assume is due to the missing RAM).

Everything else seems stable, like there are no power cycles, shutdowns, or odd smells. I'm mostly curious if it's normal for that static red LED to be on as soon as the PSU is switched on, and if it's typical for the case/AIO fan RGB not to work without RAM installed. Any insights would be appreciated!

Yeah, it’s pretty standard for a system to not post or show anything without RAM. But that red LED lighting up immediately is probably okay—just keep an eye on it. Once the RAM is in, check again.

You definitely just need to get the RAM in there! The system should power on fine after that. Just hang tight until your components are all together.

Since you don't have RAM installed, a lot of the diagnostic codes won't really mean much right now. The red LED being on as soon as you power on the PSU may not be a big deal without RAM. Just wait until your RAM arrives, and then you can see if everything started working correctly.
