I tried to install Windows 11 from a USB drive that I created on my dad's desktop, but now his computer is stuck in a constant restart and mine is showing errors during the loading process. I've followed all advice from my last post and watched a YouTube video, but nothing seems to work. A strange thing happened when I plugged in a mouse to my laptop—it actually moved the pointer on my dad's desktop. I have some error images, but I can't upload them here. Can anyone help me figure out what's going wrong?

It sounds like the USB drive might not have been created correctly. If the Windows 11 installation media wasn't made using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool or Rufus, it can lead to boot issues on both systems. Don't worry, they're not broken; they're just failing to boot from faulty media. Try recreating the USB installer using a working computer with the official Microsoft tool, double-check that your BIOS settings for Secure Boot/UEFI are correct, and then try booting from it again. This should fix the restart loop and allow you to install Windows properly.

Thanks for the tip! Do I need access to a third computer to create the USB correctly?
