Need Help with My 96GB RAM Setup and Boot Issues

Hey folks, I'm having a bit of a frustrating time with my memory setup and could really use your insights. I've got an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, paired with G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 RAM (that's 96GB total, 2x48GB). My motherboard is the ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F WiFi and I'm running a be quiet! Straight Power 12 1200W PSU along with an RTX 5090 GPU. Here's what I've tried so far: I turned off EXPO, set the AI Overclock Tuner to Manual, and adjusted the memory frequency from 4000-4800 MHz. I also dialed in the DRAM VDD/VDDQ to 1.35V and the SOC voltage to between 1.15-1.20V. Most timings and clocks are on Auto, and I've reset the CMOS multiple times. I've even confirmed that each DIMM works fine individually in slot A2 but they won't boot together even at DDR5-4000. Plus, the DRAM LED often stays lit during training. The system runs well with just one 48GB stick at 4800 MHz. My main question is whether this could be a weak memory controller on my 7950X or if anyone here has successfully run a 2x48GB setup with this board?

Wow, that's some serious hardware! What do you need 96GB for, if you don't mind me asking? I can’t help with your boot issue, but I had to reseat my RAM like ten times before my PC finally booted up. Maybe give that a shot?

For AI applications! I initially shot for 128GB, but that didn't pan out. Now I'm having a hard time just getting my 96GB to work.

Have you tried testing each RAM slot on the motherboard? That could help pinpoint if the issue is the slots themselves.

Yep, I even switched to a different motherboard because I heard ASUS handles memory better than MSI.

Have you tried using the A1 and B1 slots? Maybe that setup will work better for you.

Is that even a viable option? I'll check it out.
