Hey everyone! I just got myself a 5070 Ti GPU, and I'm a bit lost when it comes to the power supply connector requirements. I have two PCIe cables and a three-PCIe cable adapter, but I think I might need a new power supply. Can anyone clarify if I need a 12V-2x6 connector, either in one piece or split, which I believe is the 12x6 pin configuration? I'm considering the XPG Reactor II 850W. Any help would be appreciated!

The XPG Reactor II should come with the direct 12V-2x6 cable you need for your GPU. The adapter is useful only if your current power supply lacks that specific connector.
The connector is referred to as 12V-2x6 because it provides power at 12 volts across two rows of six pins. If your current power supply is from a reputable brand and not too old, it should probably work with the adapter cable, but it's best to stick to a power supply that supports the 12V-2x6 directly for optimal performance.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you're going to need a new power supply. It's better to avoid daisy chaining cables. Some models of the 5070 Ti only need two PCIe cables, but that could limit your ability to push for better overclocking or undervolting.

I think I have a Cougar GEC power supply. It's either 750 or 850 watts, and it has a 2-port PCIe cable, while the GPU has a 3-port adapter.
