I was working on a project for school and downloaded Wireshark, but after uninstalling it, my Ethernet just stopped functioning. The repeater I'm using seems fine, the cable works, and the port lights up as it should, but I can't connect to the internet anymore. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong or how to fix it?

Have you tried updating your drivers or uninstalling the Ethernet controller and restarting your computer? Sometimes that can clear up connectivity issues.
I checked the device manager and updated all the drivers related to the network card, but they’re all up to date. I’m wondering if this could be linked to the fact that Windows 10 is nearing the end of support, especially here in Europe?
