I'm looking for fun and engaging online programming programs for my 13-year-old son who's really interested in learning programming. Are there any specific programs or platforms you would recommend? I'm open to both free and paid options.

Don’t overlook Team Treehouse! They have a variety of courses that cater to different skill levels, and it’s a pretty popular resource for learning.
You might want to check out TechWithTim on YouTube, he offers a bunch of free coding tutorials that are really helpful for beginners.
I’d recommend checking out Codingal. They have great instructors and the content is really suitable for kids. It’s a paid platform, but many parents say it’s totally worth the investment!
If your son enjoys games, there are some really fun options like "Rabbids Coding" which introduces programming basics through gameplay. Another one is "The Farmer Was Replaced" on Steam, and it could be more engaging than traditional courses.
Code.org has some fantastic resources too! My friend who teaches tech in high school uses it regularly and has great things to say about it.

Yeah, I agree! It’s a bit pricey, but my experience with them has been quite positive.
