Hey folks! I've been using my PC for about 6 years and I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU. I'm not sure if it's smart to get a new graphics card now or if I should save up for a bigger upgrade down the line. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 3400G, 16GB of RAM, and I've found a GTX 1070Ti for £110. I'm curious about several things: Is the GTX 1070Ti still a good deal for gaming? Are there better options out there for price to performance? Will my CPU bottleneck the performance of the 1070Ti? My budget is under £150, and I'm aiming for decent 1080p gaming, maybe occasional 1440p if it's manageable. I plan to fully rebuild my PC in 2027 or 2028, so I just need something to tide me over for a couple of years. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

The GTX 1070Ti should work fine, especially for 1440p gaming! I used one until recently and felt it performed well in most situations. Just a tip—try offering £100 instead of £110; you might score a better deal! Your CPU should handle it without major problems.
You should definitely look at some benchmarks for the GTX 1070Ti. Although it’s getting old—about 10 years—it’s still a lot better than what your Ryzen 5 3400G’s integrated graphics can do. Just be prepared that while it can push 1080p, I wouldn’t rely on it for serious 1440p gaming.
Are there any newer graphics cards that could compete with the 1070Ti but fit in the same price range? Just curious since I’m only planning to use this for a year or two.

I'm actually getting it from CEX because I don't trust buying from random sellers.
