Should I choose the Corsair RM750e or the cheaper Thermaltake GF1 for my build?

I'm currently deciding between two power supply units (PSUs) for my PC build and would love some advice. The first option is the Corsair RM750e from 2025, which costs $115. The second option is the Thermaltake GF1 from 2024, priced at $95, but I can grab it for only $80 due to some discounts. Saving that $35 would be great since I could use it towards a better GPU. Do you think the cheaper Thermaltake option is worth it, or should I stick with the Corsair?

I recommend going with the Corsair RM750e. The original GF1 was a solid PSU, but the new model has cut corners and doesn't perform as well anymore.

Check out this PSU tier list! It hasn't been updated with the new GF1 model yet, but I've seen a lot of negative reviews online. It seems like they really cheaped out just to make some quick cash.

Yeah, it's true. The new GF1 is definitely not getting the praise the old model did!

There's a current promo on the RM750X Shift for just $90! Just make sure your case can fit it since it has side connectors.

If you’re looking for a good deal, consider the Vetroo GV850. It's cheaper and performs better than both of the options you have in mind.

Assuming the GF1 is also 750W, right? Just remember that this is the new model you're looking at; it’s not the same as the older one that received good reviews.

Exactly! The new GF1 model isn’t as reliable as the previous one.
