I'm trying to decide between the i7 10700 and the i5 13500. The i7 is priced at 50% less than the i5, but I'm not gaming or doing anything too heavy with my computer. The i5 seems to outperform the i7 in most aspects, except for its base speed of 1.6 GHz compared to 2.9 GHz for the i7. The small form factor of the i5 concerns me a bit, but the i7 appears to offer better value for money right now. I'd really appreciate hearing your opinions on this decision. Thanks!

The i5 13500 is generally the stronger option. But can you clarify what you mean by '50% less'? Are you comparing prices like $10 vs $20 or more like $300 vs $600? Also, the base clock speed doesn't make a big impact, and I’m unsure what you meant by mentioning a 'small form factor'.
I think they mean a compact model like the HP 800 G9.
