I've been experiencing an unusual situation with my business website, which runs on WordPress. In the last couple of days, I've received around 2000 visits from a single IP address, which I found out belongs to a local ISP. Interestingly, the traffic appears to be linked to an IT/CyberSecurity business that seems to be based in the same region as the ISP.
After doing some research, I found that this business has only one employee and operates a YouTube channel where they reveal their identity. I've also tried blocking and unblocking the IP range in my CDN settings, but it hasn't helped since the hits keep coming.
This whole situation is quite frustrating, especially since it took me hours to dig into it. I'm concerned that if this person is targeting my business, they might be doing the same to others. Given the circumstances, do I have the right to file an IC3 complaint and present what I've found?

I hear you – getting bombarded by traffic can be super annoying. But if it’s just a bunch of hits from one IP, it’s likely not the end of the world. Just block it if it bothers you and don’t let it eat up your time!
I’ve dealt with worse issues online, honestly. A lot of people will hit your website for various reasons, and it's just part of being online. 2000 hits might sound bad, but it’s also not actually a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. Just consider putting some security measures like a firewall in place to handle it.
Totally agree! Focus on maintaining your site rather than worrying about endless visits.
Honestly, filing an IC3 complaint seems more like venting than a practical step to take here. You could try simply blocking the IP and then move on. It might not be worth spending so much energy on this issue.

Exactly! A simple firewall could save you a lot of hassle in the future. There's no need to stress over one IP.
