Hey everyone! I need some advice for my PC build. I'm considering buying the 5080 for €1000 right now. I know the 5070 Ti offers better value per FPS, but the price difference is only €150, which makes the 5080 more appealing to me. However, I'm also curious if it's worth it to wait for the 5080 Super, knowing that scalpers will likely drive the price up to €1500 for a while. I've heard the Super versions can offer significant performance upgrades, but I'm uncertain if it justifies the wait. Also, I was thinking about getting the 5080 now and selling it later when the Super version becomes cheaper, but I'm worried it might lose value. What do you guys think? Thanks for your help, and sorry if my English isn't perfect!

Honestly, it really depends on how much you're willing to wait. If you need to game or work on your PC now, then going for the 5080 makes a lot of sense. Rumors about future releases can keep you in limbo forever!
16GB VRAM is fine for most applications. I’d recommend getting the 5080 now! The Super versions might be a headache with availability and bug issues anyway.
That’s a good point! I don’t want to deal with any launch day chaos.
That’s the tricky part about upgrading. If your current setup is working fine, waiting could be worth it. But if you feel like your PC is slowing you down, upgrading now could really help!
I totally relate! My current PC is slowing me down, so that’s why I want to upgrade quickly.
Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, so if you can afford it and it fits your needs, get the 5080!
If the 5080 meets your needs and the price feels right, I'd say go for it now. If I listened to every rumor, I would never buy anything. Just get what works for you!
You’re right, I think I might just pull the trigger!
Exactly! I was hesitant too until I learned that waiting could just mean missing out on enjoying my games.
