I'm planning to launch my app and I've been using EmailJS to send emails to users. However, after comparing pricing with AWS SES, I noticed a significant difference: AWS SES charges about $0.07 per 1,000 emails, while EmailJS costs $9 for 2,000 emails. Before making the switch, I want to know why there's such a big price gap. Will I run into any major challenges or issues with SES compared to what I'm used to with EmailJS?

EmailJS can get pretty pricey, especially when you consider that it's around $11 monthly for 2,000 emails. Before switching to SES, make sure you get production access approved, as that can take time. There are also plenty of other alternatives you might want to check out, especially if SES doesn't work for you.
Good to hear you’ve got production access! It can be luck of the draw. SES is amazing if you’re already using AWS. But keep in mind that receiving emails is a different setup compared to sending them. Good luck with your transition!
