Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my gaming rig from 2019 or possibly building a new one altogether. My budget is around $2500–$3000. I can easily access a Microcenter, so I'm curious about the best route to take. My current setup is starting to show its age, especially when playing CPU-heavy games like Stellaris with some mods. I plan to make some purchases around August 9th or 10th. Another reason I'm open to a fresh build is that I could always repurpose my old rig, but that's not my main focus right now. A bit about my gaming habits: I enjoy titles like Total War, Anno, Stellaris, Cities Skylines 2 (I know, I know), and Civ. By the way, I'm currently on Windows 10 Pro. Here's my current rig for reference: [PCPartPicker Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PnPsNz). I've updated the link, so it should work now!

Honestly, I recommend going for a completely new build. You can keep the power supply, storage, case, and cooler from your old rig, but make sure to check with Cooler Master about getting a bracket for the new platform. That way, you save some cash and still get a powerful setup!

Definitely! Keeping those components will help reduce your overall costs while getting new ones should give you a significant performance boost.
