Should I Upgrade My Power Supply for Better Performance?

Hey everyone! I'm currently trying to figure out if I should upgrade my power supply. Right now, I've got a 650W PSU, but I'm thinking about moving up to either 750W or 850W to enhance stability and gaming performance. Do you think it's worth the upgrade, or can I stick with 650W for my setup? Here's my build: I'm using a Corsair 4000D Airflow case with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU, a Gigabyte X570 motherboard, and an ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080Ti GPU. I also have 32GB of RAM and some solid storage options. I play modern AAA games and do a bit of light content creation. Would a higher watt PSU make a noticeable difference, or is it just unnecessary? Thanks for your insights!

You definitely don’t need a higher wattage PSU. Unless your current one is really old or having issues, 650W should be more than enough for your build. I doubt you'll push that PSU over 500W, even under load. So save your money!

Thanks for the reassurance! Sounds like I can keep my 650W then.

Honestly, I think your current 650W PSU will handle everything fine. There's no real need to upgrade unless you're experiencing stability issues, which you haven't described yet. You're well within the safe limits for your setup.
