Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm torn between a few options. My current setup is a 1080p display, an R7 7700 CPU, 32GB of RAM, and an MSI 850W Gold PSU. I want to play games like RDR2, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and eventually GTA VI. Would it be smarter to grab the RX 9060 XT or RTX 5060 Ti now (priced around $450 and $520 respectively) and then replace it in three years, or should I invest in the RTX 5070 for $650 now and plan to use it for the next five years? What do you think?

Honestly, the RX 9060 XT should cover all your gaming needs at 1080p, even if it's a bit over MSRP right now. It's pretty much on par with the RTX 5060 Ti, and unless you're planning to upgrade to a higher resolution soon, the RTX 5070 might not be worth it for you.
Just to clarify, the $100 over MSRP is likely including VAT, so it’s probably around $360 without tax, which is more reasonable.
