Simple Ways to Show a Web Page on a Monitor

Hey folks! I'm working on a case study and need to find the best way to display a single webpage on a monitor. I'm looking for both hardware and software solutions that are low-cost but still allow for keyboard and mouse connectivity. It's also important that the setup can be managed and supported via DattoRMM agents. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!

If you're using Windows 10 or 11 Pro/Enterprise, look into Kiosk Mode with Edge. It’s built into the system and really simplifies the process. Just point it to the webpage you want—it's pretty simple!

You might want to try using kiosk mode in any modern browser. It's a straightforward way to get what you need without complicating things too much.

A cheap Android tablet with the Fully Kiosk app can also work great! If you have an HDMI monitor, a Google TV stick with the app is a solid choice too. Just remember that a Windows machine might be overkill for this.

Great idea! I have an old tablet lying around, I could make that work.

Exactly, might save you some cash!

We use Ubiquiti Display Cast devices for our setups. They allow you to show either a slideshow or a specific webpage and can handle power scheduling as well. Just keep in mind that you'll need one of their Cloud keys or gateways.

That sounds interesting! Do they provide remote management for content updates?

Yes, exactly! It’s really helpful for maintenance.

For the cheapest option, you can just use a smart TV and run a browser in fullscreen mode. It should cost around $200. You’d spend the same or more on a Raspberry Pi plus a monitor.
