Hey everyone! I've recently built a new PC and I've noticed something odd. When I first power it on, I hear very quiet popping sounds coming from inside the case. Once the PC warms up and the temperature stabilizes, the sounds pretty much disappear. I'm not experiencing any performance issues, and I've checked all the fans—they're running smoothly. I'm just curious if anyone has any ideas on what might be causing this. Thanks!

It sounds like it could be related to a capacitor or resistor. I've had similar noises in the past. If everything is running fine, it might actually just be thermal expansion or even tiny air bubbles in a liquid cooler. Do you notice the popping every time you start the PC?
Yeah, I'd lean towards thermal expansion if it's not affecting performance. I’ve experienced something similar without it being an issue. Since you mentioned it happens every time, perhaps it’s just some components settling in as they heat up. What cooler are you using?
I suspect it could be something with the PSU, but you mentioned it doesn't sound like it's coming from there. It’s worth keeping that in mind. Maybe check if all connections are tight to avoid random noises!
