Suggestions for My First Computer Build

Hey everyone, I'm new to building PCs and could really use some help! I just learned about CPUs two days ago, so please be gentle! I'm studying economics and need a machine that can handle large datasets (around 5GB on average) using statistical software like R. I also dabble in making animations with Python, especially using the Cairo renderer, which I hear requires a decent amount of CPU power. Plus, I might do some casual photo and video editing. I'm not focused on gaming, so maximizing gaming performance isn't a priority for me. Can you all provide tips on how to improve my current build? Here's what I've picked out so far:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor ($385.38)
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ($34.90)
- Motherboard: Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard ($149.99)
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory ($94.99)
- Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD ($119.00)
- Video Card: ASRock Challenger D Radeon RX 6600 8 GB ($219.97)
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A650BN 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ($64.99)

Total: $1069.22

Thanks!

If you're not into gaming, you might want to skip the Ryzen 7800X3D. Instead, consider the Ryzen 9 3900X, which is better for productivity tasks. You can also save some cash by opting for a system that uses integrated graphics, especially since you mentioned video editing. If you really want a dedicated GPU, look into whether your software can benefit from it. If not, stick with a powerful CPU instead!

Thanks for your input! I thought a dedicated GPU would be good for video projects, just trying to figure out if it's necessary or not.
