Suggestions Needed for My First PC Build

I've always wanted to build my own PC and finally decided to make it happen this year. The prices don't seem to be decreasing, and my 5-year-old laptop is really struggling. I've assembled a list of components after some research, but I'm worried I've overspent. I'm looking for advice since I'm based in India, and components can be pricier here. Here's my part list:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor – $394
- **CPU Cooler:** Lian Li Hydroshift II LCD-C CL 72 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler – $179.99
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE ATX AM5 Motherboard – $259.99
- **Memory:** Patriot Viper Elite 5 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 – $169.99
- **Storage:** SanDisk WD Blue SN5100 1 TB M.2 NVME SSD – $160.16
- **Video Card:** MSI GAMING TRIO OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB – $1623.39
- **Case:** Lian Li O11 VISION COMPACT ATX Mid Tower Case – $124.99
- **Power Supply:** Corsair RM850x (2024) 850 W Fully Modular – $129.99
- **Fans:** DeepCool CG530 ARGB Fans (multiple) – $13.00 each

**Total Cost:** $3140.50

I really want a fish-tank style all-white case and am willing to pay a premium for that, but I suspect I could save on other components. Here's where I'm considering cutting back:
1. Motherboard: Looking at a more budget-friendly MSI B850 instead.
2. CPU Cooler: I'm not sure if the expensive one is necessary.
3. Power Supply: Considering a cheaper but reliable PSU.
4. Video Card: Chose MSI for reliability but open to other options.
5. Looking for bigger RAM (32 GB) and a more substantial SSD (2 TB) if it fits the budget.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and critiques!

First off, congrats on taking the plunge into PC building! Your list is impressive, but yeah, some of those parts seem like overkill. I'd suggest focusing more on RAM and SSD - that's where you'll feel the performance boosts the most. I recommend aiming for 32 GB of RAM (opt for 2x16 GB sticks), and try to get at least a 2TB SSD if possible. You could save some cash by going with a 750W PSU instead of the 850W too, unless you plan for major upgrades down the line. Good luck with your build!

It looks like you're making a strong build! But try not to fixate on the more flashy components, especially if you're on a budget. The liquid cooler and high-end motherboard are quite the expense; maybe consider a good air cooler instead? For your GPU, if MSI has the best after-sales support in your region, that’s important. Keep an eye on the prices for RAM and SSD; they can really make or break the performance.
