I'm considering a switch from Windows 11 Pro to Linux, even though everything's running smoothly on my current setup. I've heard Linux offers more customization options, but I'm completely new to it and have never used Linux before. I don't have much experience with command prompts or similar concepts.
Would you have any recommendations for a beginner like me? I'm open to the idea of a dual-OS setup too, just to get started more comfortably. Also, here are my system components for better context: MSI PRO B650P WIFI, Ryzen 5 7600X, and XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT.

A great starting point for transitioning from Windows is Linux Mint. It has a user-friendly interface that resembles Windows, so you won't feel out of place immediately. Once installed, you can go quite a while without using the command line if you stick to regular tasks. Just keep in mind there are different distributions (distros) for different tasks—some are geared towards gaming, graphics, or running light on older hardware. It would help if you could share what you'll mainly use your PC for for more tailored advice!
If you're mostly into gaming and some creative work like using Blender, Mint is a solid option! It's easy to navigate, and you can always dig into the command line as you grow more comfortable with Linux. Also, some distros are made to optimize gaming, in case you want that later on.
