Thinking of Upgrading My GPU from a 3050 — Any Recommendations?

I recently upgraded my PC with a 2TB SSD and 32GB of RAM, and now I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. Right now, I have an RTX 3050, but I'm considering either the 9060 XT or the 9070 XT. Since I'm relatively new to upgrading, I'm curious about whether I should go for the 9070 XT for better long-term use or if there's something else that might be a better fit. For context, I play games like Cyberpunk and get around 80 fps on high to medium settings. Also, I'm planning to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen eventually. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!

Go for the 9070 XT unless you're on a 1080p monitor! It’ll give you the best performance, especially for future-proofing your setup. If you’re looking to upgrade your monitor down the line, definitely aim for something that can really showcase the GPU's capabilities. 1080p is good, but higher resolutions can take full advantage of the power.

Yeah, I agree on the upgrade! What kind of monitor are you thinking of getting? Maybe something with a higher refresh rate?

If ray tracing isn't a priority for you, then the 9070 or 9070 XT is the way to go! They're solid choices, especially if you want something that will last you for years.
