I'm putting together a gaming rig for 2025 and would love some feedback on my build. Here's what I have so far: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Thermalright Phantom Spirit CPU Cooler, Asus ROG STRIX B650E-I motherboard, G.Skill Flare X5 64GB RAM, two Western Digital NVMe SSDs (1TB for OS and 4TB for games), Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, and a Corsair SF850 power supply. I'm planning to use the NCase M2 case with Noctua fans. I'll mainly be playing heavy, 4K AAA titles as well as some indie games on Linux. Any thoughts on my part selection?

You might want to think about partitioning your 4TB SSD and using some of that space for your OS instead of having a separate boot drive. It saves you an M.2 slot for future upgrades.

What distro do you plan to use? I'm curious why you chose Linux for gaming since a lot of games seem incompatible. But you might be pleasantly surprised—most are actually compatible now, especially with Proton from Steam.
