Hey everyone! I'm helping my 13-year-old nephew put together a PC as a congrats for his recent improvement in school. I'm aiming for a budget around €1200, and he's already got peripherals sorted. I want to make sure I'm making the right choices, so here's my proposed build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core for €200.90
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE for €45.90
- **Motherboard**: Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI ATX for €168.99
- **Memory**: G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 for €92.99
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB NVME SSD for €129.00
- **Video Card**: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB for €399.00
- **Case**: Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower for €60.85
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL 750W 80+ Gold for €109.00
Total: €1206.63 (including shipping and taxes)
I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions!

If you're open to flashing the BIOS, consider this motherboard instead: MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI—it's cheaper and has better VRM heatsinks than the Asus. Also, if you can, go for 6000MHz CL30 RAM instead. It’s a minor upgrade but worth it if the prices are close. Overall, pretty good setup though!
Nice tip on the CL30! I hadn't thought about that. Just switched it out for similarly priced CL30. Thanks!
