I've been considering upgrading my nearly 10-year-old PC and I think now might be the right time since prices might rise. I want to play the latest AAA games at medium to high settings at 1440p. My planned components include an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor, MSI PRO B850M-VC motherboard, 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM, and NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti. Currently, I have an i7-6700, a Gigabyte Z170 motherboard, and a 5700 XT. I'm looking for feedback on this build before making the purchase.

Consider going with a Ryzen 7600X3D and a more powerful GPU if budget allows. The 5060 Ti might not hold up for the long term if you're serious about gaming. Have a look at the used market for higher-end options.
Make sure to grab the 16GB VRAM version! The 8GB won’t cut it anymore, even with older games at 1080p. You’ll want that extra memory for the future.
Yes! I forgot to mention that, definitely going for the 16GB version.
If longevity is crucial for you, consider spending a little extra on a more powerful GPU for better performance in the long run. The 5060 Ti is decent but the 5070 Ti will give you that extra edge for years to come!
I appreciate that advice since I aim to avoid upgrading again soon. A 5070 Ti sounds tempting!
Your build looks solid for gaming! Just be sure you’re getting that 16GB version of the 5060 Ti. The Ryzen 7 7700X is a great choice too; it’s powerful enough for your needs, especially paired with that card.
Absolutely, the 7700X is a good balance for 1440p gaming.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm thinking about putting in a bit more for the Ryzen 5 7600X3D and maybe a 5070 or a 9070XT.
